Summer Outdoor Storytime!

Please join me for 3 upcoming outdoor storytime events in Ward 2! We've designed these events for children ages 4 - 10. You are very welcome to share this invitation with any families you think may be interested in attending. Come and go as your schedule permits -- it would be great to see you, however briefly. 

Today, July 7th, 4 pm - 6 pm, Rose Park (26th and O Streets NW on the basketball courts)

I've been working with the Friends of Rose Park and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) to facilitate outdoor storytime in Rose Park. This afternoon, MPD Officers will be reading children's books about police officers at the Rose Park Market (26th and O Street NW).

Saturday, July 17th, 10 am - 11:30 am, Garrison School Yard (1200 S Street NW)

I've been working with the Logan Circle Community Association, ANC 2F, and the DC Public Library to curate an art/educational event around the new initiative Let's Paint the Streets. Participants will receive a book and a chance to win a raffle for art supplies! More information here.

Sunday, July 18th, 10 am and 11 am, Stead Park (1625 P Street NW in front of the oval area)

I've also been working with ANC2B and the Friends of Stead Park to bring outdoor storytime to Stead Park! More information here.
