To my campaign supporters:

We did it! We have succeeded to engage more than 10,000 votes affirming our focus to advance literacy.

Thanks to your support, I will be joining the DC State Board of Education in January as the Ward 2 representative. You challenged me with your questions, and you inspired me with your ideas. You contributed resources, you hosted Zoom meet & greets, you hand wrote thousands of letters, and you stood by me (rain or shine) canvassing at farmers' markets. Thank you.

During these turbulent times, new issues will inevitably arise. I hope I may count on you again to work with me to adapt and improve education in Ward 2 and across DC.

Leading up to January, I'm building up a network of Ward 2 literacy allies — people like you — who care and want to stay engaged. I'll be sending out a newsletter with local education news and opportunities to get involved.
